Shipping and Tax Information
All orders usually ship within 24 hours during regular business days. If you place your order before 12 noon on a business day, your order will usually ship that same day. We ship orders Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) via Canada Post, FedEx or UPS. Shipping typically takes between 2-10 days, depending on your address location.
All shipments are FOB Toronto, Canada
What do I do with a damaged shipment?
At Polish Bookstore "Polimex", we take great pride in selling brand-new, unused books and magazines from Poland. Although we carefully inspect every book prior to shipping your order, damages may unfortunately occur while it's on its way to you.
All damages due to shipping must be reported by email within 48 hours from receipt of your order. All damages must be documented with a clear photo in order for ksiegarnia.ca to make a claim with the shipping company. Please do not ship goods before obtaining a return authorization number and return instructions from us. A product cannot be returned if the product or packaging is damaged by the customer. Once goods have been received and the claim is approved, credit or exchange will be issued within 5-7 days.
What is the cost of shipping?
The cost of the shipping is calculated by the web site based on the weight of the item you are purchasing, the size of the necessary shipping container and the shipping distance based on the destination. Exact shipping rates will be displayed online during the checkout process, before your order is submitted.

For all international orders, customers are responsible for paying any customs, import duties and/or any other charges or fees that may be incurred by importing products into your country. Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing what duties and /or taxes are applicable for each specific country. For more information, please contact your local customs office. Please be advised that international shipping could take longer than expected due to customs delays.
Do you ship to a PO Box?
